Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Mile of Music, August 4-7, 2021 (also known as Mile 9)! Without your help, we would not be able to help make the music happen. With 700 live music sets over 4 days in 40 venues, your help is truly appreciated.

Most shifts for Mile 9 are between 3 and 6 hours.

Join our Facebook group! Search "Mile of Music Volunteers" and request to join. Once you register to volunteer, you will be approved by an administrator.

Take a look at the volunteer positions & descriptions below and register using your most frequently used email address & current mobile phone number. This way, we can contact you with any updates, changes or reminders! Questions? Email for more information!

-Due to reported issues at past festivals, drinking alcohol is not tolerated during volunteer shifts.
-We ask that you only wear your volunteer shirt during your scheduled shift(s) and bring a change of clothes for after. Thank you!
-You are welcome to bring a snack and non-alcoholic drinks to your shift!
-Dress comfortably/for the weather during your shift. Comfortable shoes will make all the difference!
-Please arrive for your shift 15 MINUTES EARLY so you can orient yourself to the role you are taking over and meet fellow volunteers/staff.
-Remember: You are the face of Mile of Music for many attendees! Smile, be kind, be courteous and most of all, HAVE FUN!

A few (other) things to note:
-The exact shift times of these jobs may change a bit as the Mile 9 schedule is finalized. You will be notified of any changes to your shift.
-All shifts are subject to change.
-Once a shift disappears from the lineup, that means it has been filled! We encourage you to sign up right away if you are looking for specific shifts.
