Mile of Music (August 2-5, 2018)

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Mile of Music, August 2-5, 2018! Without your help, we would not be able to help make the music happen. With 900+ live music sets over 4 days in 70 venues, your help is truly appreciated. Volunteer efforts for 2018 are sponsored by Country Financial.

An in-person volunteer orientation will be held on Tuesday, July 24 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley. NEW FOR 2018: An online Facebook Live orientation will be held at a different date, and will be archived within our Facebook Group.

Join the Facebook group! Search "Mile of Music Volunteers (2018)" and request to join. Once you register to volunteer, you will be approved by an administrator.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be guaranteed a t-shirt in your preferred size, please register to volunteer by FRIDAY, JUNE 29. Thank you to Country Financial for sponsoring this year's volunteer t-shirts & efforts!

NOTE: If you are one of the first 425 volunteers to sign up, you will receive a t-shirt. As stated above, there is no guarantee on size if you sign up after June 29.

MILE 6 VOLUNTEER POLICIES:
-Due to reported issues at past festivals, drinking (alcohol) is not tolerated during volunteer shifts. Shifts have been shortened to accommodate this.
-Your volunteer t-shirt must be worn during shifts, but may not be worn after shifts. Please bring an extra t-shirt for after your shift!
-Food is not provided. Please make sure you’ve had a full meal before your shift, or bring a light, portable snack!
-Dress comfortably/for the weather. Comfortable shoes will make all the difference!
-Remember: You are the face of Mile of Music for many attendees! Smile, be kind, be courteous and most of all, HAVE FUN!

A few (other) things to note:
-The exact shift times of these jobs may change as the Mile 6 schedule is finalized. You will be notified of any changes to your shift.
-Once a shift disappears from the lineup, that means it has been filled! We encourage you to sign up right away if you are looking for specific shifts.
-You will be asked to read our Mile 6 waiver before you confirm your shift(s). Please note that you will need to sign this in person when you check in at Festival Headquarters (HQ).
-We'll be adding a few additional shifts throughout the summer! Please keep an eye out if you don't see what you're looking for.
